General Questions

Buying and watching

Do I need an account?
Yes, you'll need an account to buy or watch clips. Without an account we can't keep track of what you've purchased and let you watch or download again. See our Privacy notice for details on how we keep your personal data safe.
What payment methods do you support?
We support the vast majority of credit and debit cards.
What currency is my transaction in?
All transactions are made in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £). Your account will be billed in your normal billing currency with a competitive exchange rate.
Can I buy more than one clip at once?
Yes! Add the clips you'd like to buy to a playlist, then go to the playlist in your dashboard and click Buy - you can buy the whole lot in one go. If your playlist contains a mix of clips that you've already brought as well as new ones, we'll only bill you for the new ones.
I can't download the clip I purchased! Why not?
Individual creators can decide whether they want their clips available to download or not. When you view a clip's details, you'll be able to see whether or not that clip is available for download.
I downloaded a clip but I can't watch it! Help!

To watch a clip, you'll need a compatible player. All our clip downloads are in MP4 format which is played by the vast majority of modern media players - if you need a recommendation, we suggest VLC Media Player.

NOTE devices running iOS or iPadOS may be unable to play any downloaded video files, regardless of installed players. This is a limitation in the operating system. We recommend streaming instead!
I'm having problems watching streams

Our streaming player supports the latest versions of all major browsers, inclucing Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox and Apple Safari. It is important that you ensure your browser is up-to-date, not just for playing our streams, but to ensure you're not exposed to secuirty risks!

If you're still having issues, make sure:

  • JavaScript is enabled
  • Nothing is blocking loading the content - extensions such as ad blockers may interfere with the player

If you can't get it to work, please contact support, telling us the name and version of your operating system and web browser.

Selling and uploading

Why do I have to verify my identity?

Clips Fatale works a bit differently to most clip sites. By being a publisher, not a platform we can better protect our creators from legal threats - read more about how that works here.

Being able to do this means we have to make sure we know who we're protecting!

Your identity documentation is held securely and never shared.
How does Clips Fatale protect me?

Because Clips Fatale is the legal publisher of your clips, any legal actions get aimed at us, not you. Other sites claim that they're neutral platforms and will happily redirect all legal issues straight at you!

How do I control whether or not customers can download my clips?

Its easy:

  1. Sign in to your account
  2. In your Dashboard, click Channel & Profile
  3. Go to the Channel Settings page
  4. Choose the option that best suits you!
What video formats can I upload?

Broadly, if its a video, we support it!

What’s the minimum price for a clip?
Currently our minimum price is £2.01
I deleted a clip by accident. Do I have to upload it again?
Maybe not! If you contact support as soon as possible, we may be able to undelete it for you. The longer you leave it, the more likely it'll be gone forever!
How do I get paid?
You'll need to set up your payment details on the SUNKAT Hub.
